Are you a science educator or an administrator interested in science-related teacher workshops? If so LIGO’s outreach teams may be able to meet your needs.
Each LIGO site offers teacher professional development to teachers in neighboring school districts with the goal of deepening their understanding of physical science concepts. We believe that investing in teachers can significantly increase student achievement and opportunities for success in all areas – and particularly in creating future scientists.
