On Saturday, May 18th, LIGO opens to the public for tours, activities and SCIENCE! In May we explore the Sounds of Science! Make rods sing, strings creak and balloons buzz. Come and see some of your favorite exhibits before they leave next month (around ten will be leaving)!
Tours are conducted roughly every 30 minutes from 1 PM - 4 PM. LIGO's Science Saturdays are free and open to the public - you can drop in any time from 1-5 PM. We request that groups of 15 or more let us know that you intend to come by filling out a tour request form.
