On Saturday, December 15th, LIGO opens to the public for tours, activities and SCIENCE! Come on by and tour the world's first successful gravitational wave detector. In December, we have celebrate the variety of science topics with our Science Potpourri! Experiment with magnets, light, pendulums and perception. LIGO's Science Saturdays are FREE and open to the public from 1-5 PM.
Tours are conducted roughly every 30 minutes from 1 PM - 4 PM. LIGO's Science Saturdays are free and open to the public - you can drop in any time from 1-5 PM. We request that groups of 15 or more let us know that you intend to come by filling out a tour request form.
