Science Saturday @LIGO Livingston, October 20th

On Saturday, October 20th, LIGO opens to the public for tours, activities and SCIENCE!   Come on by and tour the world's first successful gravitational wave detector. In October, you become the science detective - trying to use your detective skills (along with science) to figure things out!  Try to deduce colors by understanding filters, try to understand wht's in packages by dissecting their sounds, try to pick out the gravitational wave by matching the wave forms.  LIGO's Science Saturdays are FREE and open to the public from 1-5 PM.  

Tours are conducted every 20-30 minutes from 1 PM - 4 PM.  LIGO's Science Saturdays are free and open to the public  - you can drop in any time from 1-5 PM.  We request that groups of 15 or more let us know that you intend to come by filling out a tour request form.
