Science Saturday @LIGO Livingston, June 16th

On Saturday, June 16th, at LIGO Science Education Center in Livingston, LA, we want you to SWIM into Science with our monthly Science Saturday.  This isn't any type of SWIMming, this is Science With Inexpensive Materials!!  Lobby activities are all about using inexpensive materials to explore science with (there will be NO actual swimming)!  From items made with discarded cups, to items made with PVC, we will explore science concepts with everyday materials.

PLUS be among the first visitors to experience new exhibits in our exhibit gallery.  LIGO's Science Education Center has 11 new exhibits from Magnetic Clouds to the Tornado.

Tours are conducted every 20-30 minutes from 1 PM - 4 PM.  LIGO's Science Saturdays are free and open to the public  - you can drop in any time from 1-5 PM.  We request that groups of 15 or more let us know that you intend to come by filling out a tour request form.
