Visitors experiment with colorful bubbles in the exhibit hall

LIGO's Colorful Science Saturday, June 18th

News Release • June 8, 2016

On June 18th LIGO's Science Education Center in Livingston, LA, will be hosting tours, and exploring the science of color as part of it's monthly Science Saturday.  Experiment with color, and learn about how light and pigment interact with your eyes to produce what you see.  At LIGO we strive to understand and characterize our detector (the interferometer), so we thought you should better understand your color detectors!

We will be open from 1 PM - 5 PM

LIGO's Science Saturdays are free and open to the public, but we request that groups of 15 or more let us know that you intend to come by filling out a tour request form.
