Pre-service or in-service teachers who are enrolled in a degree program can apply for a summer internship at LIGO Hanford through the STAR Program. STAR is operated by Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Center for Excellence in STEM Education. The program makes intern placements in a number of U.S. locations and provides enhanced professional development for its participants.
