LIGO Hanford Observatory Suspends Outreach Activities

LIGO HANFORD OBSERVATORY HAS SUSPENDED ALL OUTREACH ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING SATURDAY TOURS.

In an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19 both to the public and to staff, the LIGO Hanford Observatory is closed for tours, field trips, and drop-in visitation of exhibits for the foreseeable future.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Note, however, that the site is still open to receive scheduled deliveries.

We will post a re-opening date here and on the LHO home-page as soon as we have one.
