The now sainted HTRMWA. This object, with 3 drops of methanol, swiped one of the mirrors in the process of going from 80% transmission to 96% transmission.

Hanging OMCs is a messy business, but someone has to do it.

The arrangement of the earthquake stops maximizes clearance for laser beams.

The mounting solution for the OMC cables.

The two stacks of masses balance the OMC. In between the masses is the wire loom for the auxiliary cables. There are 3 EQ stops visible on the breadboard sides. The back of QPD3 (far field) is visible with the kapton interface sticking out at 45 degrees from vertical. The orange cylinder to the right of the QPD is the 3/4" diameter PZT with a 1/2" curved OMC mirror. To the left of the QPD is the OTAS (thermal actuator).

Detail of the PD end of the OMC.

Beam's eye view of the input. OMC mirrors 1 and 3 are the one inch optics on tombstones to the left. The view is through two 2 45 degree tombstones onto the near field QPD4. The back of DCPD2 (sees OMC output BS in reflection) is on the right.

We're not sure why Stefan is in this photo. This shows the beam from the septum to the turning mirror to tip/tilt 1.

Rough alignment of the turning mirror in the foreground and TipTilt 1 which is located next to the photographer. The septum is to the left.

The electric lift is wheeled into position.
