Notes:

  1. As of 1/24/2006 fortress is the only offline machine with SHM data access. It also has local name server (fortress:23456) and webview (fortress:9991) support processes.
  2. On fortress, the GDS initialization script may be invoked automatically within the system login script by creating a file called: $HOME/.dmt-setup.
