Initial LIGO COC Phase Map Data

This web site is for posting useful documents related to the LIGO Core Optic Components design. The documents are for LIGO internal use only.

Data taken at Caltech
The following are Ascii data files ~9MB which you can save to your local disk.
The format is x,y,z the position units are micrometers and the height units are waves (1064 nm).  For each pixel with a null value the ascii set BAD is entered (this is a headache!) However there are no nulls on the inside of the map.  This map covers the central 150 mm of the 250 mm part.

 Wavelength      1064
 Pixel array is 576x480
 Pixel size  0.2668
 Aspect  Ratio 1.167000 = y/x

Sapphire 25-1 homogeneity  Warning, ~8MB!! Zip version.   Single pass map of the homogeneity of the 250mm m-axis sapphire substrate.  Surfaces 1 and 2 have been subtracted.

TOPO data taken at CSIRO

Each file is an array of 1024 points representing the profile height in nanometres across the surface.
Tilt and curvature have been removed so the file is exactly the same as the hard copy data you have been sent.

For the T2 files the spacing between data points is 5.28 mm/1023 = 5.16 micrometres
For the T4 files it is 0.323 mm/1023 = 0.315 micrometres.
