Date: May 23rd, 2001

Attendees: Malik Rakhmanov( U. Florida), Rick Savage, Mike Landry, Bill Butler (LHO), Mark Barton, Virginio, Hiro, Alain, Michel, Andrea, Biplab(Caltech)

The main topic was generation of noise curves using e2e. Bill Butler explained what he and Fred Raab are planning to do using Han2k model. Bill plans to spend next two and half years on characterising noises in LHO IFOs and he'll use Han2k model to understand various noise sources. He has already started playing with the model with Rick's help.

Hiro explained the current capabilities of E2E for generation of noise curves. More validation is necessary.

On another front, for a proper simulation of Mode Cleaner, Malik and Biplab will try to introduce radiation pressure noise.

Alain Weinstein talked about the simulation activities that he plans to pursue for understanding effects of burst sources.
