Dear Alan, Mike, here are the minutes of the TAG - hope you like them. Cheers, Ken 40m TAG minutes 19th March 2003 Present: Mike Zucker, Ken Strain After hearing a concise progress report from Osamu, the following points were raised. 1) it was noted that progress was excellent, keeping very well to schedule and the team is clearly working efficiently and doing the job completely 2) it was suggested that, since there was a working cavity with wavefront sensing, this be used to measure the typical pitch and yaw noise on the campus site, to allow optimization of the suspensions/controllers under constructin 3) it was noted that the suspension controllers are under development and the 40m team are learning the techniques required. 4) it was noted that lock acquisition studies, aided by the E2E team, are quite urgent 5) the team requested help, if possible, in the area of noise modelling (tools are available but the team feel they lack experience in this area. 6) Other outstanding items were seen to be less urgent.
