Transportation

Hilton Capitol Center and Indigo Hotel are across the street from each other. They are located about 8.0 mi/12.9 km South from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR). Both hotels offer complimentary shuttle service to/from BTR.

Driving directions (Google) from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) to Hilton Capitol Center and Indigo Hotel.

Taxi service is available from BTR at estimated cost of $20. Time by taxi: 10 min.

Applicable to LIGO and LSC members only. Please submit your travel expenses to Esther Cunningham or Marilyn Wright (see above for contact information).

MEALS AND DINNER

Breakfast is not included into the hotels' rates. There will not be a breakfast served at the Observatory. Lunches will be served Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as will coffee and snacks. Dinner will be served Tuesday night and is included in the registration; cash bar.

There are many restaurants in Downtown Baton Rouge within walking distance of the meeting hotels.
