The 2003 Aspen Winter Conference on Gravitational Waves and their
Detection will be, as usual, a very interactive Gravitational Wave
Advanced Detectors Workshop (GWADW). The subtitle is "Exploring the Widest
Gravitational Wave Frequency Range - Reaching Deeper and Broader".
In addition to our normal focus, the special goal of this workshop is to
discuss why and how to extend the frequency range of third generation
Gravitational Wave Detectors, both terrestrial and space-based, to above
2 Kilohertz and below 10 Hertz.
Each day of the workshop will consist of about six hours of scheduled
talks and discussion as well as scheduled workshop interactions. The
nature of the housing, with all participants living and dining under the
same roof, at the Aspen Meadows, encourages extensive opportunities for
informal scientific exchange. In addition, as is the custom at the Aspen
Winter conferences, a public lecture will be given on Wednesday, February
5, 2003 at the Wheeler Opera House.
