Course Requirements

• Complete each laboratory experiments,
• Attend all the labs class and the weekly conferences with the instructors,
• Complete the preparatory laboratory problems to be allowed to work on a new experiment.
• Submit a report for each experiment once a week.
• Design, implement, and demonstrate a two-week long project at the end of the course.
• Late notebook policy: -1 point/day (out of 10 points) for non emergency reasons. No exceptions.
• Grading: letter grade.

Notebook

• All work must be done in a bound notebook such as National 43-648. No scratch paper and no erasing.
• Write-ups must be readable for evaluation.
• Print and tape to the notebook computer generated graphs and data
• Write units to all numerical values
• Graphs: write titles and label axes and include units

General Information

• Before leaving the lab, please clean up and take a look at the equipment for the following week.
• No food or drink in the laboratory.
• Shoes are required.
