We are migrating to 3D using SolidWorks with files archived and shared through a PDMWorks vault. Any LIGO designer wishing access to the vault can contact Dennis Coyne for authorization. The vault is administered and backed-up by LIGO/CIT ITS personnel (Mike Pedraza and Larry Wallace). AutoCad These are transitional files and will not be maintained. AutoCad layout files can be found in the PDMWorks vault, under the project (root directory) “AL Layouts” and sub-project (sub-directory) “AutoCad” The files in this directory were mostly generated or revised in the 10/2004 timeframe, although the layout drawing (with external references to other files), named L2_planview_v8.dwg was generated 6/2005. One can also find a directory with the files here. Warning, this is ~47MB of files. Note that the PDMWorks vault archive is the proper place for maintaining these drawings; Changes made outside of PDMWorks are not considered “official”. SolidWorks The latest SolidWorks layout files will be found in the PDMWorks vault under the project (root directory) “AL Layouts” and sub-project (sub-directory) “SolidWorks” These files will only be made accessible through the PDMWorks vault. However an e-Drawing is available below. e-Drawing An e-Drawing of the vertex layout is available: vertex layout (baseline, 2/22/2006) An e-Drawing viewer is available for free download. Warning, this is a large file and rendering is slow.
